Thornton House provides a truly unique venue in a beautiful countryside setting to celebrate both your wedding and reception. The Evergreen Suite and Chestnut Suite in the main farmhouse are licensed for ceremonies up to for 35 guests whilst the Summerhouse provides an outdoor setting for ceremonies for up to 150.

Wedding receptions are hosted in the grounds in a marquee to suit your numbers however large or small. We offer different styles and shapes of marquee with interior decor and colour scheme of your choice.

The large lawned gardens, summerhouse and patio are ideal for taking photographs whilst your guests relax with a drink and perhaps some outdoor entertainment. You will have exclusive use of the venue throughout your celebration and  including a fully licensed bar.

Your special day is tailor made to suit your individual requirements. Buffets, Hog Roasts, Barbecues and Silver Service style catering can all be arranged. Alternatively hire the venue and make your own arrangements.

Marquee celebrations can also be arranged at your own venue if you prefer.
